1st year

I’m sitting in front of my computer looking through my images and thinking about this past year. How much did change, what did I gain and what was left behind? How did all of this reflect on my physicality? What can a indifferent viewer read out of those portraits? Is it possible to capture experience? I know that it isn’t, yet I’m always thinking about Nicolas Nixon The Brown Sister. Obviously you can see that the characters are getting older, but what is interesting for me, is that their experience is reflected on their faces. I can’t say what was particularly happing to each sister, but you can read the change on the face. Within a year wrinkles appears and a character that has been emitting a positiveness is all of a sudden marked with a significant worries. How systematic do I have to be in order to show more relevant result of my change? What would my close friends read out of my visuality?
What has changed?
