Two Places at Once

re·la·tion·ship
riˈlāSHənˌSHip/
noun
noun: relationship; plural noun: relationships
1.    1.
the way in which two or more concepts, objects, or people are connected, or the state of being connected.

How is a relationship captured by a camera? The artists in this exhibition each consider questions of connection and balance, that allow us to unfold narratives between two individuals or objects in their images. Photographs formed through the use of exposure techniques and photoshop tools are in relation to intimate portraits of family members, lovers, and friends to ask questions about our presumptions about these relationships.
