Fast or Slow?

In a couple of our classes we’ve looked at the impact of speed in film/video making.  Director Wes Anderson is known for his adept use of the slow motion shot, often for emotional emphasis and triumphant effect.  This Rolling Stone article discusses Anderson’s  frequent but thoughtful use of “slo-mo” and includes a vimeo cut of slow motion scenes sampled from Anderson’s filmography.
